  • Email Archiving does support Office 365 remote journaling. 

Email Archive

Proofpoint Essentials Archiving does support Office 365 through SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol).  This connection method allows customers to remote journal their email to a unique SMTP address supplied by Proofpoint Essentials. This is the preferred method for connection. Support is available for both Local Exchange and Office 365.
