Exporting Archive Data
Search results can be exported by discovery users only. End users can only view their own messages but not export them.
Exported data will be in .eml format in a compressed (.zip) file. Only 100K messages can be exported at a time. If your search results exceed 100,000 messages, use additional search parameters (i.e., mailbox, date, etc.) to reduce the search results.
To export archive data:

After performing a search, click the Export icon above the search results.

When prompted, enter a name for the search.

Enter a password for the file (optional).

Click Export.
Search results are added to an export job (.zip) that your browser will automatically download. |

Deleting messages
Once messages are archived, they cannot be deleted. All messages are eventually removed based on your Retention settings (1 month - 10 years). But there is no way to remove a specific message or set of messages prior to normal retention period removal.
