|Situation||Inbound Email not received by Functional Accounts in a Distribution List.|
|Solution||Modify the Distribution List Properties in Exchange per the steps below.|
Emails sent inbound to a distribution list are showing delivered within Proofpoint Essentials but not reaching the distribution list.
Within Exchange under the Distribution list properties, there is a parameter that needs to be modified so that external emails can be received.
Follow these steps to make the modification:
- Select Properties for the desired distribution list.
- Click Mail Flow Settings.
- Double-click Message Delivery Restrictions.
- Uncheck Require that all senders are authenticated.
