How do I bypass Microsoft ATP link processing?

Answer

Below are the steps to setup a mail flow rule to bypass ATP link processing:

  1. Create a new mail flow rule in your Exchange/Office Admin center
  2. Give the rule a name (i.e. Bypass ATP Link Processing)
  3. Click more options
  4. Apply this rule if - See Safelisting Guide to locate the IP addresses of the Phishing Mail Gateways for your Production Environment
  5. Set the message header: X-MS-Exchange-Organization-SkipSafeLinksProcessing to the value: 1
  6. Save your new rule

Note:  After modifying Exchange, allow up to 12 hours for the configuration to propagate.
