|Situation||The Archive connection test is successful for your IMAP connection, and some email from the journal account is being retrieved, but the connection is stopping often.|
|Solution||This can occur if you have a Throttling Policy set up on your IMAP journal account. This article provides troubleshooting steps.|
Check to see if throttling policy is Set
To check if there is a Throttling Policy enabled on the journal account, you can turn on IMAP logging per Microsoft's Article here. Check the output log for entries similar to the below example. If it contains a similar entry to the example then it is highly indicative of a throttling policy being set:
Disable Throttling Policy
