Why Error Message appears
Proofpoint checks to make sure an Org Admin is assigned to the account for managing any remaining domains.
Solution
- You must have at least on user with an Org Admin role to remove a domain.
- Even if you have an Admin Contact assigned on the Profile for the partner, you must have an Org Admin on the actual account
- You can temporarily assign a user to Org Admin or create a temporary Org Admin account to get around this. But you may consider leaving a permanent Org Admin on the account to avoid future confusion for various functions that check for an Org Admin.
